The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition Operations, Contracting Office, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a Task Order (TO) on a basis of an exception to fair opportunity for the Office of Information Technology (OI&T) Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). The TAC intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) TO to ASM Research a Large Business, for Continuous Readiness in Information Security Program (CRISP) Remediation Support Services (RSS).
The TO is intended to bridge the gap in service when the existing Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology T4 Contract VA118-11-D-1011 TO VA118-1011-0032, which ends on April 28, 2019. VA anticipates the award associated with this draft PWS to be on a sole source basis to the incumbent Contractor, ASM Research, to ensure continuity of services and the ability to provide support in accordance with the draft PWS. The scope of this effort is to provide operational infrastructure and security protection support services necessary to support VA in addressing system security vulnerabilities components, ensuring information security risk controls are implemented and monitored, and in response to FISMA and FISCAM audit reporting.
This support is required across all components of OI&T to support the implementation of all recommendations identified in this PWS and future FISMA and FISCAM audit recommendations. Additionally, the Office of Operations, Security, and Preparedness (OSP) requires similar support services in resolving its audit deficiencies. The organizations being supported may be adjusted to reflect the changes resulting from the pending MyVA reorganization.
