Dr. Robert McLinden recently joined Social & Scientific Systems, Inc. (SSS) to lead Business Development and Strategy for SSS’ Clinical Research and Bioscience Group (CRB). Dr. McLinden has 27 years of experience in biomedical research with special emphasis on HIV vaccine development from the benchtop to the clinic. During this time, Dr. McLinden developed a wide array of skills in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology and Cell Culture that led to a patent for the detection of RNA at the single copy level as well as a licensed cell line capable of supporting HIV-1 R5-utilizing virus replication.
Dr. Sliman, CRB’s Senior Director of Clinical Research, Infectious Diseases and Medical Director, also joined SSS recently. Dr. Sliman has more than 18 years of experience in clinical and public health research, including 10 years directing clinical projects and product development, in therapeutic areas such as gastroenterology, neurosciences, immunology, the microbiome, infectious diseases and vaccines.
SSS is a public health research organization providing solutions in clinical and biomedical research, epidemiology and public health research, health policy, and program evaluation.
