Acuity seeking Account Executive for Health Solutions

Acuity is looking for new talent to add to our growing business development team and is currently hiring an Account Executive to support our growth initiative within the Healthcare Market space.  

The Business Development Account Executive leads the demand generation and direct sales in a defined account or territory.  This role requires the execution of the entire sales process from opportunity identification and qualification through award. The Business Development Account Executive is also responsible for post-sales support to identify and cultivate client relationships and facilitate organic growth. The Account Executive must have relationships and a thorough understanding of the federal procurement process for the Defense Health Agency, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, and other related healthcare organizations.     

Additional Key Duties: 

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline. 
  • Track opportunities in Acuity’s electronic tracking system. 
  • Meet or exceed annual quota targets as required in support of corporate sales and revenue objectives. 
  • Work and develop relationships at all levels including C-level executives of various component agencies to secure and finalize successful sales cycles.

Education and Experience: 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area with 3-5 years of hands-on Federal sales and business development experience.  
  • Proven track record in excelling in a quota-driven sales environment selling multi-million dollar technical and professional services engagements to the Federal government. 
  • Experience with complex sales cycles selling to business and IT executives at both the program and executive level. 
  • Proficiency in the use of Salesforce or other similar tool. 
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. Government and Department of Defense acquisition processes, along with FAR, DFAR, IDIQs, and GWACs…
