Longtime CMS Deputy Director for Division of Quality and Health Outcomes retires

Barbara Dailey, whose extensive career at CMS included time serving as Deputy Director for the Division of Quality & Health Outcomes/Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services/CMS and supporting the DQHO Director/CMCS Chief Quality Officer in performance measurement & quality improvement efforts for Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Programs (CHIP) at national, state, health plan, community & provider levels, has retired.

Prior roles include:

  • Deputy Director, Division of Quality and Health Outcomes – CMS
  • Quality Manager – Schaller Anderson, Maryland Physicians Care
  • Sr Regional Quality Advisor – CIGNA Healthcare
