Update: Bloomberg Law: DLA Piper Taps Former HHS Official for Chief Administrative Role

“DLA Piper has hired Joanne Chiedi, former acting inspector general for the Department of Health and Human Services, as its new chief administrative officer.”

“Chiedi stepped down from her role after being with HHS for roughly a decade. She will provide strategic support to DLA Piper’s senior leadership, reporting to the firm’s chief operating officer Bob Bratt.”

“Chiedi was brought to the firm by Bratt, who she previously worked with at the Department of Justice’s civil rights division…”

“Working with her former mentor Bratt, Chiedi’s purview at DLA Piper will include streamlining operations, assisting attorneys and staff, integrating innovation, and promoting diversity and inclusion efforts…” Read the full article here.
