“In their proposed agenda for the 116th Congress, the groups urge the legislature to fund VistA’s continued development until the Cerner EHR is fully sustained and that it give the VA-DoD Interagency Program Office the power it needs to make key decisions.”
“Shifting to the executive branch, the letter asks the VA to staff up its EHR modernization office with qualified staff and appoint a chief information officer at the Veterans Health Administration.”
