Cognosante has been awarded an additional $3M by VA related to a Mission Act: CC Referrals and Authorization System task.
The proposed acquisition will provide data analysis for approximately 500,000 separate entries from the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) systems before referring Veterans to physicians for care.
VA requires a modification to the T4NG task VA118-16-D-1001 order VA11817F10010004 titled, “Community Care Referrals and Authorization (CCR&A) Software as a Service (SaaS) and Integration Development” to provide Tier 2 Help Desk service for all internal VA users and Tier 2 and 3 Help Desk services for all users and customers external to VA. The Contractor shall also accept an additional level of Help Desk support for the routing process to and from other VA Help Desks.
