State Department RFI: Protected Health Information Management Services

The purpose of this Source Sought notice is to survey the vendor community for potential sources who can provide support in the receipt, processing, archival, retrieval, and transmission of Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) created in the course of patient care for eligible US Government employees overseas.

The Department of State is looking to standardize, harmonize, and enhance its mission-delivery capability in the PHIMS IT service areas of Application Management, Development, and Operations/Maintenance and Solution Management, Engineering, Development, and Operations/Maintenance.

DOS is seeking industry best practices solutions to achieve the following program objectives:

  • Increased Organizational Agility – Enabling the enterprise to evolve with changing federal mandates, regulations, policies, and business process needs;
