tiag® awarded MHS Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) UX and Software Dev Contract

Accelerating the military’s focus on total force fitness and human performance for warfighters, tiag® was awarded two new, year-long prime contracts to provide software development expertise and user experience design for Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU).

tiag will provide software development expertise and user experience design for the Operation Supplement Safety (OPSS) initiative — a Department of Defense (DoD) dietary supplement resource for the military community along with leaders, healthcare providers and DoD civilians. tiag’s agile development team of software developers, Drupal developers, UI/UX strategists, graphic and interface designers, project managers, testers and quality assurance specialists will create an entirely new website design with innovative features and functions, incorporating an agile approach and best practices in user-centered design, coding and testing. Upon project completion, OPSS will have a new look that quickly captures user interest in a more concise manner.

In a separate award, tiag will support CHAMP’s Human Performance Resource Center (HPRC) — an online, one-stop source of evidence-based information and resources to help warfighters and their families achieve total fitness and human performance optimization (HPO). Incorporating the best practices of user-centered design and innovation, tiag will create a new design for the HPRC website, as a key aspect of CHAMP’s overall educational effort. The new site will capture user interest while providing quick easy access to evidenced-based HPO information, along with physiological, cognitive and socio-emotional resources for specific topic areas — among them, physical and mental fitness, nutrition, environment, family and relationships.

In addition to translating cutting-edge information and providing resources, strategies, tools, apps and videos for numerous domains related to the maintenance, optimization and enhancement of human performance in training and on the battlefield, tiag’s work will help drive traffic to these websites, while expanding CHAMP’s sphere of influence within DoD.
