There were many great events, networking and educational opportunities over the course of 2018, including a number of opportunities to recognize those members of the Federal Health community who are driving change, pushing the boundaries of innovation, and achieving excellence.
Here is a look back at the FedHealthIT events for 2018, as well as a few others we took note of.
Artificial Intelligence, Robotics & Beyond panel discussion with AHRQ, FDA, VA and DoD
FedHealthIT and Pegasystems brought together senior executives from across the Federal Health IT community for a breakfast discussion about how robotic automation and artificial intelligence (AI) will play a role in Federal Health IT modernization. 2018 FedHealthIT Innovation Awards and Networking Event
The 2018 FedHealthIT Innovation Awards and Networking Event at the National Press Club, more than 300 senior Federal Health IT executives from Industry and Government came together to recognize and honor Federal Health innovation, technology and consulting sector programs nominated and selected by their peers for DRIVING INNOVATION and RESULTS across the Department of Veterans Affairs, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Military Health, the Department of Health and Human Services.

The 2019 FedHealthIT100 Awards, senior Healthcare executives from across the Federal Government and industry came together to focus on The Year Ahead and the initiatives and programs that will be driving Federal Health IT in 2019. Hidden Heroes Among Us: Enhancing Support for the Military and Veteran Caregiver Journey
Vice President Mike Pence joined Senator Elizabeth Dole, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie and Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar to call for greater awareness and support of those caring for wounded, ill or injured service members and veterans. Read more here.

The 9th Annual Cognosante Charity Golf Tournament, supported Final Salute Inc., an organization founded in 2010 by a woman Veteran and cancer survivor who became aware of the large number of homeless women Veterans in the United States. Read more here.
4th Annual Happy Hour with a Cause a Resounding Success!
The 4th annual Happy Hour with a Cause was record setting with more than 300 registered and in attendance. Together, we raised $14,000 for Fisher House, which provides free or low-cost lodging to Veterans and military families receiving treatment at military medical centers. Read more here.
