The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Contracting Office – Falls Church (CO-FC) intends to award a sole-source bridge contract to Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (BAH), 8283 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA 22101, to continue the current work under HT001118C0009, expiring 16 January 2019. A Justification and Approval is being processed for this requirement and will be posted when the approval process is accomplished.
DHA CO-FC requests that BAH, the incumbent of the current contract, HT001118C0009, is afforded the opportunity to continue to provide professional and operational support services to the Warrior Care Program while the process of developing the follow-on requirements of a long-term contract continue. This bridge contract will prevent a break in essential services to this critical program. It will allow for the needed time to complete the requirements development and acquisition process necessary for a competitive follow-on award. It will consist of a 6-month base and inclusion of Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.217-8 “Option to Extend Services” for up to a 6-month period. It will not exceed 365 days.
BRIDGE REQUIREMENTS: Provide continuation level of support for program management, analytical, consulting, and administrative support to facilitate the overall objectives of the wounded, ill, and injured (WII) programs. Operational support is needed to assist the WII soldiers and veterans. These individuals are supported through Recovery Care Coordination Programs, Military Adaptive Sports Programs, Employment Training and the Disability Evaluation System. General office support to include management services, which entails supply management, distribution services, logistical support, presentation development, organizing meetings and events, capturing minutes, preparing senior leaders for testimony and hearings, creating and updating documentation as well as organization and management of critical documentation are all components that will be continued through this bridge requirement.
