“As a Defense Healthcare Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving net new business revenues using solutions based on cloud, virtualization, security, end user computing, and managed services. You will market Accelera’s capabilities to key decision makers, focused on the healthcare vertical with ability to expand into other whitespace accounts across the entire United States. The ideal candidate would preferably be already working in a similar role and must have a minimum of ten years information technology industry experience with at least five years of solution sales experience within the public-sector healthcare space.”
“Specific Duties
- Run the entire sales cycle to identify, develop, manage, negotiate and close new opportunities including prospecting, solution development, and technology manufacturer (OEM) relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers within the Defense Health Agency, uniformed services medical commands (MEDCOM, BUMED, AFMS, etc.), and associated organizations
- Know and understand the broader healthcare market and how to position Accelera services and capabilities against business decision maker requirements (i.e. deployment of MHS Genesis across the defense healthcare enterprise, implementation of Section 702 requirements, alignment of IT functionality around Med-COI, etc.)…”
“Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or ten years of proven experience in a similar IT sales role
- Experience and relationships in DHA, MHS, TMA, or other defense healthcare agencies and organizations
- Prior sales methodology training such as Solutions Selling, Value Selling, Miller Heiman, or similar frameworks
