NIH awards Alcohol Epidemiologic Data System contract

NIH has awarded a $4.4M Alcohol Epidemiologic Data System (AEDS) contract to CSR, Inc.

This acquisition is for a recompete requirement and is anticipated to be for base plus options contract. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide in-house statistical and programming support for use by NIAAA staff who are conducting alcohol-related epidemiologic research.

The AEDS contract will coordinate with another NIAAA contract, the Alcohol Policy Information System (APIS) by performing, on request from the AEDS Contracting Officer Representative, data linkage between existing datasets containing problem indicator data and alcohol policy data available from APIS.
