NIH notice to award OCIO Information Security Program bridge contract details competition timeline

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine on behalf of the Office of the Chief Information Officer to extend the Contract entitled “Support for the Information Security Program” awarded to Cetech-Triumph (incumbent), award number HHSN276201100018C which was competitively awarded and previously extended.

The bridge contract will extend the services for a 12-month bridge and two successive 6-month options to provide additional time for a competitive long-term follow-on contract under an existing Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).

This extension will allow the Agency to conduct additional market research; and host an Industry Day for review, discussion, revisions to the Statement of Work and issue the competitive solicitation.

This determination is based on Cetech-Triumph’s highly specialized knowledge, skills and ability to perform a variety of NIH cybersecurity task including vulnerability scanning, wireless network scanning, intrusion detection, web page scanning, incident response, computer forensics, database administration, computer programming, real-time intrusion detection, training, security log review and analysis, and compliance monitoring using the unique combination of tools and processes used in the NIH environment. Cetech-Triumph staff has routinely communicated with the NIH Institutes and Centers (IC) security staff, NIH Network engineers, and security staff in HHS and other OPDIVs as security events dictated.

Responses are due by August 24, 2018.
