CDC has issued a notice that it intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Apelon, Inc. for support services regarding updates to the International Classification of Diseases, version 10 (“ICD-10”), enhancements to the Distributed Terminology System (“DTS”), validation checks of ICD-10 via the DTS and assistance with solutions for integration of ICD-10 within the DTS. Apelon Inc. is the only source that can perform this work with regard to their DTS software.
Responses are due by July 11, 2018.
