FDA issues RFI for Laboratory Inventory System (LIS) software

FDA has issued and RFI to obtain technical and/or business information and input from the marketplace for a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Laboratory Inventory System (LIS) software. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Laboratory Science and Safety (OLSS) is the lead office for all agency laboratory safety and quality activities.

As part of a centrally-provisioned LQMS software infrastructure, OLSS is looking for a LIS to track chemicals, biological samples, radiological materials, capital equipment, select agents and toxins, and controlled substances.

Responses are due by July 11, 2018.
