Summer is historically a slow time of year for Government events with industry shifting their focus to meeting the heavy proposal season needs, but this list of upcoming events may prove too much to miss as they provide valuable information and networking opportunities.

HHS OSDBU 2018 Getting Back 2 Business
When: June 5, 2018
Where: Bethesda, MD
HHS’ “Getting Back 2 Business” Small Business Procurement Conferences provide insight about the proposal development process, Federal contracting basics, and offers a one-on-one networking/matchmaking session with HHS’ top 25 large Prime contractors.

VA Technology Acquisition Center – Industry Engagement 2018
When : June 7, 2018
Where : Eatontown, NJ
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) will be hosting an Annual Industry Engagement event in Eatontown, NJ. This is a must attend event if VA is a focus for your business- the networking opportunities alone will make it worth the trip.

DHA Industry Exchange
When: June 11, 2018
Where: Fairfax, VA
This Industry Exchange event is expected to include updates on the forecast and presentations from DHA Joint Directorates providing overviews of selective requirements/opportunities. This event will be packed.

FedHealthIT Innovation Awards & Networking Event
When: June 12, 2018
Where: Washington, DC
This event recognizes and honors leaders from across the Federal Health innovation, technology and consulting sector to celebrate programs nominated and selected by their peers for DRIVING INNOVATION and RESULTS across the Department of Veterans Affairs, Military Health, Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. CMS SPARC Industry Networking Event

4th Annual Happy Hour for a Cause

Kick off your week at DHITS and support a charity near and dear to many of us! Come together with more than 250 attendees to support Fisher House and beat the $13K raised last year. All proceeds will go to serve Fisher House Foundation, which provides free or low-cost lodging to Veterans and military families receiving treatment at military medical centers.

Defense Health Information Technology Symposium
When: July 24-26
Where: Orlando
