DHA has issued a sources sought to identify a contractor who “shall demonstrate the capability to successfully execute a global Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) surveillance and mapping mission. The Contractor shall demonstrate the capability to maintain the critical infrastructure and capabilities necessary to conduct searches, find open source documents, enable detection and analyses of disease outbreaks and respond to inquiries from the medical and health authorities from the U.S. Military Service Medical Departments and other global public health partners. The Contractor shall update, expand, and make available data and maps on global resistance patterns, and maintain readiness of the platform to address, as requested by Global Emerging Infections Surveillance (GEIS), emerging risks, areas, or pathogens. In addition, the Contractor shall pilot test approaches for accessing untapped data and, potentially, samples through contacts and networks built during the study.”
