Salient CRGT awarded $5.7M subcontract in support of NIH NCI’s Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT)

The National Cancer Institute (NCI)’s Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT) enables the use of data science, informatics, and IT in support of the NCI’s mission to improve the prevention and treatment of cancer. Salient CRGT, Inc. was awarded a subcontract valued at $5.7 million by Unissant Inc. under its CIOSP3 SB contract vehicle to deliver software development support services to the NCI’s CBIIT.

As a subcontractor to Unissant Inc., Salient CRGT will conduct application development and operations and maintenance. The CBIIT implements Agile software development and DevOps practices and is seeking further expertise in order to reduce costs and optimize process development on a variety of CBIIT projects.
