Inside Cybersecurity: HHS cyber center getting overhaul, will defer to DHS on sharing threat info with industry

“Sources in the healthcare sector are suggesting a controversial cybersecurity information-sharing center housed at the Department of Health and Human Services will be overhauled to align with info-sharing efforts at the Department of Homeland Security, amid congressional scrutiny over whether the HHS center duplicates other federal efforts.”

“An industry source told Inside Cybersecurity that the HHS Healthcare Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center, or HCCIC, will be rebranded, with potentially a new name as well as a “subordinate” role on information…” Further details require signing in here.
