The VA has issued an RFI seeking assistance to the “(VA) Office of Information Technology (OI&T) and the VA Chief Information Officer (CIO) with Strategic Sourcing Services. OI&T needs professional and technical services, subject matter expertise, and operational/strategic advice as OI&T stands up, designs and structures the organization to achieve Veteran-centric results as directed by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. OT&T and its executive staff seeks assistance developing, evaluating, recommending and implementing strategies for, but not limited to, transparency, cost-effective telecommunication/networking, software consolidation, enterprise programs, and portfolio management solutions rooted in the most current industry best practices and standards. The acquisition shall provide professional and technical support services and strategic advice on the governance and management processes and practices including, but not limited to, how OI&T delivers products and services as well as the sustainment/security of those products and services.”
Responses are due January 16, 2018.
