HHS has issued a presolicitation for The Continuation of the Medicare Patient Safety Monitoring System (MPSMS) data analysis support.
“The Medicare Patient Safety Monitoring System (MPSMS) has been operated by AHRQ since 2002, with data analysis provided by a contractor specializing in this work. Data from MPSMS has been used to calculate the U.S. national rate of hospital-acquired conditions (HACs) for the Department of Human Services’ (HHS) Partnership for Patients program, and to provide findings on patient safety that have been published in peer-reviewed publications.”
