“…Some friendly Vistacrats sent us the following video from an OSEHRA EHR Architecture meeting where a presenter (starting at minute 45 or so) discusses the “fence post problem”—a standards issue that arises in EHR implementations and could threaten interoperability in the VA Cerner implementation if, in their rush to meet deadlines, the implementers fail to assure terminologies are harmonized among the various installations.
