DHA to award sole source contract to Global Emergency Resources for the maintenance of HC Standard

“The Defense Health Agency, Contracting Operations Health Information Technology – San Antonio, intends to award a sole source contract to Global Emergency Resources for the maintenance of HC Standard. Global Emergency Resources holds proprietary rights to the software installed on Government owned systems. The Government intends to procure specialized software maintenance support for offices located in Falls Church, VA. No other vendor/reseller offers HC Standard software maintenance. Considering the software maintenance for in the proposed contract is a continuation of the work performed by the specified entity under the preceding contract, Global Emergency Resources, soliciting for competition would not be reasonable or practicable. Award will be made on or about December 20, 2017. The NAICS code of this procurement is 541519. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.”
