Cognosante seeks Civilian Health Business Development Vice President

The Civilian Health Business Development Vice President will be responsible for building solid relationships with customers, vendors, industry leaders and selling Cognosante solutions and subject matter expertise to Federal Civilian Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies. Cognosante’s Civilian Health IT business unit includes the HHS, Medicare & Medicaid Practice which delivers product and service solutions to customers in the areas of health IT solutions; health data standards; intelligent health information, and business process operation delivery. Civilian Health IT business unit helps customers implement new technologies and respond to regulatory mandates in Health IT. The VP will foster existing and new relationships with key decision makers, vendors, partners within the HHS agencies including NIH, CDC, IHS, or FDA. The VP will develop new business opportunities for sales, advancing opportunities through the capture cycle, and positioning Cognosante for growth in the Federal Civilian space. This role will develop and execute strategies and plans for opportunities/pursuits assigned by Cognosante leadership and is accountable to successfully execute winning capture strategies. The successful candidate will have existing executive and senior management relationships in Federal Civilian organizations and with potential teaming partners.
