T4NG Prime, IBM, seeks VA focused Growth Exec

IBM has an immediate need for a Senior Business Development/Capture Manager with experience within the Department of Veterans Affairs. This individual is responsible for the following:

  • Building, positioning and capturing opportunities/procurements
  • Providing business expertise for developing solutions (i.e. Cognitive, Cloud, Analytics, Mobile, and Security) within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Identifying and managing VA opportunities
  • Managing VA relationships, and focus on the procurement of large opportunities in conjunction with our VA team.
  • Supporting new business opportunities, proposal responses, and provide leadership/collaboration within the team.
  • Assisting management in building and executing account plans to achieve specific business and operational goals.
  • Participating in bid decisions and developing phase/gate reviews
  • Partnering with operations to develop winning strategies
  • Collaborating with the Account Manager to understand current and emerging customer needs and requirements
  • Obtaining market intelligence and competitive data and develops market strategy
  • Completing and authoring technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses as needed
  • Leading technical scoping/reviews with VA and T4NG team and customers for task order responses
