This individual will be primarily responsible for growing SBG’s Veteran’s Affairs, DoD-Defense Health Agency (DHA), and Human Health and Services (HHS) health and benefits services account. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, capturing and winning new business and growing existing accounts with particular focus on the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) healthcare and benefits opportunities. This individual will be expected to grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities utilizing SBG’s Prime T4 Next Generation IDIQ vehicle. They will work collaboratively with SBG’s business development team; our proposal management force; and the company’s technical SME’s and partners to capture high-value and strategic contracts. This individual should have a strong understanding of the Federal Health Industry and possess an established network of contacts within federal health agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain account plans aligned with SBG’s CEO strategic business strategy for growing the health professional services portfolio across the Federal Healthcare Market.
Implement, maintain, and enforce effective and flexible business pursuits, capture and bid/proposal processes and execution related activities.
Demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and vendors to define IT strategic direction, focused solutions, and implementation strategies of technologies in areas of healthcare.

G2X TAKE: The role with this 8(a) and SDVOSB will be very attractive if for no other reason than the opportunity to support what is expected to be immense growth over the next few years as a T4NG prime. With past performance across HHS, it appears there will also be a focus on growth outside of that IDIQ.
SBG claims capabilities in program management, IT, engineering services, security, and training services, to include prior experience supporting key efforts such as the customization of the HHS HRSA web-based proposal system to automate HRSA’s proposal submission, evaluation, reporting, and notification process. This group is one to watch in 2017 as they further establish themselves in the Federal market and key investments such as this one will go a long way to supporting that growth trajectory.
