SAIC seeks Business Development Principal – DHA

This position reports to the Vice President for Business Development in the DoD Agencies & Commands (DoDAC) Customer Group (CG). The successful candidate will have responsibility for business development strategy, account development and capture management planning and execution for opportunities within DoDAC target accounts, to include DHA and others as assigned. The Business Development Principal will be expected to leverage to the client the complete portfolio of SAIC offerings from all seven Service Lines: Software Integration, IT Managed Services, Cyber, Cloud & Data Science, Intelligence, Systems Engineering and Policy, Hardware Integration & Logistics, Mission, Engineering and Program Support and Training & Simulation.

The Business Development Principal will be responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery in all aspects of the DHA account and pursuits to include win strategy development, teaming with industry, coordinating solution architects, and price-to-win analysis to support a winning proposal to our valued clients. G2X TAKE: To say that this firm is emerging as a Federal Health IT company sounds a bit ridiculous as they maintain one of the most recognizable brands in the market, but after selling off key parts of their Health IT business as part of the Leidos split, SAIC has clearly set their eyes on re-growing their Fed Health IT footprint.

In the past year, SAIC has recruited two fast rising execs. First, is the addition of current HIMSS NCA President, Diana Ceban to support growth and the second is the addition of Travis Szabo to serve as the VP Programs for Defense Health. Given their brand recognition and set of capabilities, the competition will be paying attention to who takes on this role.
